PACIFIC SEAFOOD OPENS STATE-OF-THE-ART PROCESSING FACILITY
IN
LAS VEGAS
After Nearly Ten Years of Business in the City, the
Company
Moves to a Larger Location
LAS VEGAS – Sept. 22, 2008
– Pacific
Seafood, a family owned seafood company based in
Portland
,
Ore.
, has opened the doors to a
new 35,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in
Las Vegas
. The Grand Opening of the new facility, located at
5845 Wynn Rd.
, will take place Sept. 24, timed with the National Fisheries
Institute Annual Meeting taking place that week in
Las Vegas
. Pacific Seafood’s
growth over the past several years in the
Las Vegas
area led to the company’s move to the new location in Dec. 2007.
The facility is operated by 50 Pacific Seafood Team Members.

opening of this new location is a result of our growth and desire to
supply the freshest and diverse product line available,” said
Frank Dulcich
, president and CEO of Pacific Seafood Group. “This facility will
help Pacific Seafood meet the needs of our distribution customer base
while using the latest technology and resources in fresh and frozen
seafood processing and distribution.”
The
Las Vegas
location receives seafood from around the world, which is then
processed and distributed to restaurants, suppliers and grocers
throughout the
Las Vegas
metropolitan area. To provide the highest in food safety standards,
the new location includes the following features:

Large fish fillet cutting room
·
Production room for cutting crab and other frozen product
·
Modern “shower-drip system” for live lobster storage
·
Refrigerated dock area
·
Advanced technology throughout the facility for longer
shelf life for fresh cut from the bone fish.
The
Las Vegas
facility is one of more than
30 Pacific Seafood-operated locations across the
Western United States
.
