We expertly manage the growth cycle of our oysters, clams, mussels, and steelhead in healthy, controlled environments. Our grow-out facilities are dedicated to caring for our farm-raised seafood, balancing the seasonal and natural changes in the market supply. Our steelhead farm is Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified. We process our products with the utmost care following stringent internal product quality standards. We follow Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) principles in our operations and our facilities are Safe Quality Food (SQF) and British Retail Consortium (BRC) certified. Our processing sites utilize in-house microbiological labs operated by lab technicians trained in the verification of food safety and quality systems. Our logistics team ensures seamless continuation of our cold chain, from our processing facilities to our distribution facilities, and directly to our customers. Pacific Seafood recently joined the SmartWay ® Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry partners.
