Pacific Seafood Releases Ninth Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report “Feeding the Future”
Report highlights the company’s ambitious efforts to grow responsibly and sustainably

Pacific Seafood, provider of the healthiest protein on the planet, has released its ninth annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report, “Feeding the Future”. The 2025 report highlights Pacific Seafood’s continued progress towards Mission 31 and emphasizes achievements in environmental responsibility, product quality innovation, and community engagement.
The report outlines milestones in the second year of Mission 31 through the acquisition of facilities in Seward, Alaska and Miami, Florida; achievements in resource efficiency and waste reduction; innovation in product quality; and notable community engagement efforts and contributions. Mission 31 is not just about increasing square-footage, it’s about investing in communities and expanding access to sustainable seafood.
The theme of this year’s report “Feeding the Future” represents Pacific Seafood’s commitment to innovative and sustainable operations to protect fisheries and the planet for generations to come.
Highlights of the report include:
Supporting Our Team Members
- Health Programs – Mental Health Awareness month and the Summer Wellness provided opportunities to prioritize personal health during the workday.
- Development Programs – A multitude of training programs delivered to team members across Pacific Seafood, resulted in nearly 17,000 hours of training in 2025.
- Team Member Safety –Recordable injuries significantly reduced across the company due to continuous improvements in the occupational health and safety program.
Sustainability and the Environment
- 86 Certified Species – Pacific Seafood increased its certified sustainable species offering to a total of 86.
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions –Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions tracked to support environmental impact reduction efforts.
- Water Efficiency – Achieved 48% improvement in water efficiency through water reduction, team member engagement, and process optimization efforts.
- Energy Efficiency –Participation in Strategic Energy Management programs and energy efficiency projects to reduce energy usage at processing and distribution facilities.
Value Creation and Quality
- 100% Fish Utilization Goal: Pacific Seafood is dedicated to expanding the use of each species we process by transforming bones, skin, and shells, into usable products. This process prevented more than 56 million of pounds of waste from entering U.S. landfills in 2025.
- Food Safety – Achieved excellence in food safety through five food safety certification programs
- Value Creation – Through continued innovation, Pacific Seafood reduced damaged product by 18.6%, resulting in 1.2 million pounds of additional finished product.
Supporting Our Communities
- Supporting the Fleet – Partnered with more than 716 independent commercial fishing vessels
- C.A.S.T. for Kids – C.A.S.T. for Kids is an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children with special needs through the sport of fishing. Pacific Seafood supported 21 events in the Western region that helped 1,851 children and family members experience the joys of fishing.
- Feeding our Communities – Supported efforts to keep our communities healthy and fed including contributing 1,625 pounds of food to the Newport Food Pantry and ensuring residents on the Colville reservation have food during the holiday season.
