Shrimp Beer Boil
1 lb Pacific Seafood Gulf Shrimp peel-on
12 oz Kona Longboard beer
6 cups water
3 Tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1 medium yellow onion cut in 8 wedges
1 lb baby gold potatoes cut into chunks
4 ears fresh sweet corn cut into thirds
- In a large stockpot add beer, water, and old bay seasoning and stir to combine.
- Bring to soft boil, over medium heat, and add onion and baby gold potatoes. Boil for 10 minutes or until potatoes are about 1/2 done.
- Add corn and shrimp and return to boil, cooking for additional 10 minutes or so until shrimp is pink and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes before serving with more Kona beer!
