Ingredients

4 – 4 oz sablefish fillets
4 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (for marinade)
2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp Sriracha
1 tsp ginger, finely minced
1 tsp garlic, finely minced
2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp shallots, minced
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cup spinach
1 Tbsp pine nuts
Pinch of sea salt

Directions

  1. Prepare the fish: Brush fillets with soy sauce; marinate 5‒10 minutes. Meanwhile combine honey and sriracha in a small dish and set aside. Heat broiler to medium (350˚F). Dab fish lightly with paper towel to absorb excess soy sauce. Brush on the sriracha honey mixture. Place fish on oil-brushed broiler pan. Broil 5‒7 inches from heat, about 3‒5 minutes, until top caramelizes and just until fish is opaque throughout; keep warm.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a dry sauté pan over medium heat, cook ginger and garlic just until it begins to brown. Add 2 tsp soy sauce, lemon juice and 1 Tbsp of olive oil. Heat 1 more minute; cover and keep warm.
  3. Prepare the greens: Sauté shallots and pine nuts in 1/2 teaspoon oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Stir in greens and sea salt; cook just until greens begin to wilt. Mound greens in center of serving plate.
  4. Plate your dish! Place fillets on top of greens, drizzle sauce over fish and around plate.
