4 – 4 oz sablefish fillets
4 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce (for marinade)
2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp Sriracha
1 tsp ginger, finely minced
1 tsp garlic, finely minced
2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
2 tsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp shallots, minced
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cup spinach
1 Tbsp pine nuts
Pinch of sea salt
Directions
- Prepare the fish: Brush fillets with soy sauce; marinate 5‒10 minutes. Meanwhile combine honey and sriracha in a small dish and set aside. Heat broiler to medium (350˚F). Dab fish lightly with paper towel to absorb excess soy sauce. Brush on the sriracha honey mixture. Place fish on oil-brushed broiler pan. Broil 5‒7 inches from heat, about 3‒5 minutes, until top caramelizes and just until fish is opaque throughout; keep warm.
- Prepare the sauce: In a dry sauté pan over medium heat, cook ginger and garlic just until it begins to brown. Add 2 tsp soy sauce, lemon juice and 1 Tbsp of olive oil. Heat 1 more minute; cover and keep warm.
- Prepare the greens: Sauté shallots and pine nuts in 1/2 teaspoon oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Stir in greens and sea salt; cook just until greens begin to wilt. Mound greens in center of serving plate.
- Plate your dish! Place fillets on top of greens, drizzle sauce over fish and around plate.
