Pacific Seafood Sea Inlet Oysters reflect a rich history of oyster cultivation that dates back to the late 1800’s. Sourced in partnership with the T’Sou-ke Nation, Sea Inlet oysters are raised in the pristine waters of the Sooke Basin in British Columbia where nature’s harmonious blend of deep oceanic saltwater and nutrient-rich freshwater creates a pristine oyster-growing environment.
The T’Sou-ke Nation uses an innovative wave action method that leverages the water’s innate wave pattern to gently tumble oysters against each other, resulting in well-cupped oysters with enhanced quality and taste.
Today, after decades of industrial activities caused significant damage to the oyster habitat, the T’Sou-ke Nation has successfully restored the ecosystem, leading to enhanced water quality and a thriving environment for oysters and clams.
Pacific Seafood Sea Inlet Oysters are harvested during the cooler months and immediately placed on ice within seconds to maintain peak quality from the moment they are pulled from the icy waters.
