37 SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY VALUE CREATION AND QUALITY SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITIES SUPPORTING OUR TEAM MEMBERS In 2023, Pacific Seafood launched its Coast to Kids initiative with the commitment to supply schools with healthier school lunch options through seafood. Within the first year, Pacific Seafood began supplying three schools in the state of Oregon with Dover sole, Pacific cod, and Coldwater shrimp. Pacific Seafood team members were handson throughout the year volunteering at local schools to promote and educate students about seafood. Our team members proved their passion for seafood with in-person events, such as serving students at lunch, presenting during career day, and hosting school representatives at Pacific Seafood headquarters in Clackamas, Oregon. With support from the Oregon School Nutrition Association, and other school nutrition groups across the United States, Pacific Seafood looks to increase access to healthy seafood for students.
