35 SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENT VALUE CREATION & QUALITY (VCQ) COMMUNITY TEAM MEMBERS This year, Pacific Seafood team members in South Bend, Ore. helped a local baseball team make memories of a lifetime by donating 10 gallons of oysters. The team hosted an oyster feed and raised enough money to take a trip to the east coast. Players visited the Baseball Hall of Fame among other monuments, memorials, and museums. Our Warrenton, Ore. location sponsored a local high school’s fisheries fundraiser, an event that began as the idea of a Pacific team member’s daughter. The dinner and auction event ultimately raised $100,000 for the expansion of the school’s hatchery and tank, creating space for more students and species! We were proud to sponsor the OMSI Gala 2022: Renaissance. The event raised over $1.1 Million in support of science education in a single night.
