Here at Pacific Seafood, we believe that great people make great companies. We are proud to introduce you to one of those great people, Olan Hicks!
Olan currently serves as one of our Inside Sales Reps, but he has held a few positions within the company in his 18 years here. Olan began as an order picker in our operations department in 2002. With hard work and recognition of our vast career opportunities, Olan worked his way up from an operations employee to an inside sales representative. Olan has worked as an office clerk, a manager, a driver, and then in sales where he finds himself today. People like Olan are what makes our company so unique and why we are proud of the people we have here.
When asked what he loves most about working here, Olan spoke highly of our family-oriented culture. “We are very family oriented. Everyone is very kind and fun. We all stick together especially during hard times. We manage to come together and achieve.”
One of Olan’s responsibilities is publishing our “team-member specials” daily product deals (a unique perk of working at Pacific Seafood), so he is very familiar with our vast protein offerings. When asked what his favorite Pacific Seafood product is, his answer was “Columbia River Steelhead. I love cooking it up on the ‘barbie!’”

Jordan Caddel
VCQ Assistant Manager

We are proud to introduce another one of our valued team members, Jordan Caddel!
Jordan has been at Pacific for a little over a year and started in our intern plus program! The intern plus program is an 18-month program geared towards training recent college graduates to become managers within our company. In the intern program, Jordan worked part of her time in warehousing and the other part in production. She did such good work that we couldn’t bear to send her away, and in October of 2019 she was hired on full time as a VCQ Supervisor!
Since being hired on, Jordan has been promoted to the VCQ Assistant Manager, where she oversees product quality and financials. In one year she moved from an intern to a manager within the company and we could not be more proud to have her on our team.
We asked Jordan what she loved most about working here, and she spoke highly of her fellow team members and the opportunities available for all employees.
“Pacific has been like a family. The people here really care about each other. They want to help others succeed in both their personal and professional growth. There are endless opportunities within Pacific to learn and grow as a team member and a leader.”
We also asked what her favorite Pacific Seafood Product is, and hers was our halibut!
