Energy Trust of Oregon provides onsite inspections, energy measurement, and verification, as well as efficiency requirements, and more. ENERGY Energy consumption will be the focus for our 2024 Sustainability Saves initiative, with the goal to reduce energy consumption across all locations by 1% per pound of production by 2025. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, total U.S. electricity consumption in 2022 was 4.05 trillion kWh, the highest amount recorded and 14x greater than electricity use in 1950. By reducing our energy consumption we help ensure the communities where we live and serve with access to lighting, heating, cooling, refrigeration, and much more.
