  • ATL = Atlantic typically referring to Atlantic salmon
  • B/F = Block Frozen
  • B/S = Boneless and Skinless (Usually refers to chicken)
  • C/C = Center Cut
  • CPND = Cooked, Peeled & Deveined
  • CPTO = Cooked Peeled Tail On
  • CS = Cold Smoked
  • DRSD = dressed meaning guts out but could be head on or head off
  • DWT = Dressed Without Tail
  • EV = Extra Value (these are items that are outside our normal date specs, have packaging issues, workmanship issues or are being discontinued, etc. and are reduced accordingly.  Most fresh items have 2 days to be used).
  • FAS = Frozen At Sea
  • FOB/FOT = Free on board/Free on truck. Charges beyond the termination point are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • G/SC = Gills out and Scaled
  • GG = Gilled and gutted. Completely cleaned, but with head on.
  • GGS = Gilled, Gutted, Scaled
  • H&G = Headed and Gutted (no heads, no guts)
  • H/L = Headless
  • H/L = Hook & Line Caught
  • H/O = Head-on
  • H/On = Head on
  • HGT = Headed, Gutted, Tail-off
  • HLSO = Headless Shell-On
  • HOSO = Head-On Shell-On
  • HS = Hot Smoked
  • INTL =  Interleaved
  • IQF = Individually Quick Frozen
  • IVP = individually vacuum sealed or packed
  • IWP = Individually Poly-Wrapped
  • O/R = Ocean Run (random in size)
  • P&D = Peeled and deveined
  • P/C = Portion Control
  • PBI = Pin Bones in
  • PBO = Pin Bone Out
  • PND = Peeled & Deveined
  • PPV = Peeled Pull Veined
  • PTO = Peeled Tail On
  • PUD = Peeled Undeveined
  • RHSO = Raw Headless Shell On
  • RPD = Raw Peeled & Deveined
  • RPTO = Raw Peeled Tail On
  • RWO = Raised without antibiotics
  • S/O = scale off
  • S/OFF = skin off
  • S/ON = skin on
  • S/P = Shatter Pack
  • S/TR = Skin and Trimmed
  • TRL = Troll caught
  • U/7, 7/11, 11/up
  • when referring to whole salmon means the weight of the salmon i.e. U/7 means the whole fish weigh 7# or less.
  • When referring to fillets, the size of the fillets. But the count when referring to shrimp or scallops is the count per lb. i.e. 10/20 scallops mean if you weigh out a pound of scallops you will have anywhere from 10-20 scallops in that pound on average.
  • Same for shrimp i.e. 16/20 means if you weigh out a pound of shrimp you will have anywhere from 16/20 shrimp in that pound on average. Therefore, the bigger the number the smaller the shrimp or scallop.
  • VP = Vacuum sealed or packed
  • X CT = number of count (4 CT = 4 Count)
