Grilled Oysters w/ Gremolata Red Chile Butter

Ingredients

12 Half Shell Oysters – Buy Now!
1 cups panko bread crumbs
1 Tbsp unsalted butter
½ tsp lemon zest
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
¼ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder

Red Chile Butter:
2 sticks unsalted butter
¼ cup garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp crushed red pepper
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt to taste

Directions

  1. To make Gremolata: In a large sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the bread crumbs and toast until evenly brown. Add the remainder of the ingredients off the heat. Let rest while you prepare the butter.
  2. To make butter: In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring butter to a simmer. When butter has fully melted add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Preheat your grill until hot. Place oysters over a hot spot on your grill, ladle in 2 tablespoons of the butter and close the lid. When the edges of the oysters begin to curl and pull away from the shell, remove oysters from the grill and top off with gremolata.
